Cancun Mexico

I feel quite lucky to have been able to go to Mexico last week. While there, I photographed a destination wedding, but had a couple of days of vacation before the wedding took place. Matt went with me, and we decided to make NO plans. We were looking forward to “turning off” with lots of downtime.
Matt rented a jet ski and snorkeled a little bit. The resort also had bikes to ride around, so we did that one afternoon.
Other than that, the vacation part of our trip was made up of reading, napping, playing several games of Rummikub, and relaxing!

Coming home is always bittersweet. I missed my kids, so I was looking forward to seeing them. But it sure is hard to leave warm weather and the sound of the ocean!
Just before the last flight home, we got Chick-fil-a for dinner at the airport and look up to see my dear friend Catherine! She was coming home from a conference in California and we were on the same flight back to Wichita.
